About the FoCo Nature Journal Group
Welcome to the Fort Collins Nature Journal Group. We have monthly gatherings to explore, observe, draw, paint, and have fun in the great outdoors. The group is based on the work of naturalist John Muir Laws and the many nature journal clubs around the world. Events will be held on the third Thursday throughout the summer.
Some people come to nature journaling through science, some through art, and some through curiosity about nature and love of being outdoors. All paths are welcome! You do not need any skills in art or science to participate. There is no charge to attend, but donations are accepted.
All ages are welcome. Parents are invited to bring children with a genuine interest in nature and to monitor their behavior.
